Chelan opens applications for 2025 Community Benefit Grants

CHELAN -- The City of Chelan opened applications for its Community Benefit Grant program for the 2025 fiscal year. The program, previously known as Community Agency Funding, supports local non-profit organizations enhancing the quality of life in this rural lakeside community.

The grant opportunity is part of the city's annual budget process, providing financial support to projects and programs aligning with Chelan's goals of fostering a vibrant, connected, and sustainable community.

The city encourages eligible organizations to apply and present proposals demonstrating their contributions to community well-being and development.

Key deadlines for the application process include:

• October 2 at 5:00 p.m.: Deadline to contact Cailey Couch to schedule a presentation during the City Council Budget Workshop.
• October 9 at 5:00 p.m.: Deadline for online submission of completed applications.
• October 15 at 4:00 p.m.: Scheduled time for presentations.

City staff and legal counsel will review applications to ensure they meet the city's objectives and legal restrictions regarding the use of public funds.
