Open house scheduled for Phase I of Totem Pole Road project

MANSON - A public open house is set for January 16 to discuss the first phase of a major road improvement project along Totem Pole Road.

The event, scheduled for 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Manson High School, will outline construction plans set to begin in spring 2026. The project's initial phase focuses on drainage and safety improvements along a stretch extending from Lake Chelan near Pedoi Street northward to Harris Street, and along Totem Pole Road from Main Street to Furey Street.

Property owners within the construction zone are being specifically encouraged to attend the drop-in event, where they can learn about potential impacts to their properties. Officials have arranged for a Spanish interpreter to be present, addressing the needs of the area's bilingual community.
